Nevada State Treasurer Candidate Manny Kess Tops $400,000 in Campaign Contributions

Las Vegas, NV – Today, Manny Kess, Republican candidate for Nevada State Treasurer, announced his campaign has received over $400,000 in contributions. Kess, a first-time candidate, has been campaigning across the state and continues to garner broad support from Nevada elected officials, athletes, and businesses. Kess has a growing list of endorsements and will be announcing more in the coming days.

“When I got into this race, I promised I’d get right to work on building a broad base of support and campaign hard every single day,” said Kess. “I have been overwhelmed by the incredible support I have received and the continued momentum on the campaign trail. I made it my goal from day one to raise a record amount of money for a Treasurer candidate. Today, I am proud to say that we have accomplished that goal, and we won’t be stopping anytime soon.”

Since entering the race in January of this year, Kess has traveled the state six times and met with countless Nevadans and local officials. Last week, the Kess campaign surpassed $400,000 in contributions and is well on the way to exceeding its goal of $500,000 by the end of the year. The current Nevada Treasurer, Democrat Zach Conine, reported raising just under $402,000 on his final C&E report during the 2018 campaign cycle, a number that as of today, Kess has already exceeded.

“I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon, and I fully expect our record number will only increase with each month during this campaign,” said Kess. “We haven’t even fully ramped up this campaign and already have another big fundraiser scheduled for September. I look forward to using every single campaign dollar to help further our campaign message with a goal to improve our education system and make Nevada the most business friendly state in the Union.”

Kess is the CEO of The Kess Group, one of the top-rated hospitality companies in the country, which is based in Las Vegas. He was recognized for his success by multiple print, online, and radio publications; including Forbes Magazine and has been a successful businessman for over 20 years. Manny was born and raised in New York City and attended the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. Since moving to Nevada has become an investor in several businesses that include a restaurant, a firearms manufacturer, a high end interior design company, and the sports nutrition industry.
